With Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated adaptation of The Odyssey bringing one of the world’s greatest stories back into the spotlight, Grantley Hall is inviting guests to dive into their own literary journey with experiences and signature sips inspired by some of the world’s most iconic stories.

Nestled on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, the five-star luxury hotel has quietly curated a collection of book-inspired experiences, making it the perfect destination for literature lovers, film enthusiasts and anyone looking to escape into another world. At the heart of the story is the newly launched Everlasting Ink cocktail menu at the Norton Bar, inspired by timeless classics and the art of writing itself. This collection reflects the idea that whilst time is fleeting, what’s written in ink can last forever.

Alongside cocktails like Of Mice and Mycelium and Dracula Rosso, The Everlasting Ink menu features Odyssey, a signature cocktail celebrating Homer’s epic tale, mixed with Don Julio Reposado, Ancho Reyes, Supa Sour, Grapefruit and Smoked Salt. The literary experience continues with the bar’s 100 Years of Cocktails bookcase, lined with beautifully bound books spanning the decades. Guests can choose a year that holds personal significance and inside they’ll discover a bespoke cocktail card featuring a drink inspired by that moment in history, transforming every order into a personalised experience.

Beyond the bar, guests can follow in the footsteps of one of Yorkshire’s greatest novels with Grantley Hall’s Wuthering Heights Experience. The bespoke package includes a private guided tour through the dramatic landscapes that inspired Emily Brontë before visiting the historic village of Haworth, home to the Brontë sisters and one of England’s most celebrated literary destinations.

Guests can also browse the Grantley Hall gift shop, where beautifully bound editions of timeless classics can be found, including The Secret Garden, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Wuthering Heights, perfect keepsakes to continue the story long after their stay.
