Five-star housebuilder Miller Homes has welcomed strong demand for new homes across County Durham, as it reaches key milestones at two major sites.
The pair of developments – Fellside Gardens, in Delves Lane, and Station Fields, in Tanfield, – have both reached 80% sold, with house buyers snapping up a variety of properties since the developments launched in 2024.
The milestone reflects sustained interest in both developments, which offer a wide choice of energy-efficient two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, designed to suit a range of buyers from first-time purchasers and downsizers to growing families.
At Fellside Gardens, 142 homes have been sold, but buyers can still choose from several remaining four- and five-bedroom homes at the site, which is set on the edge of Delves Lane, overlooking open countryside and ancient woodland. Combining a village setting with easy access to Durham and Newcastle, the development has attracted a great deal of interest, even before the initial groundbreaking.
Station Fields also offers a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom properties, offering countryside living with convenient commutes to Durham and Newcastle. So far, 114 houses have been sold at the development, which is close to attractions including Tanfield Railway and the internationally acclaimed Beamish Museum, while shops, schools and other amenities are nearby.
Both developments have show homes, allowing prospective buyers to experience the quality, space and design of a Miller Homes property before making their decision.

Selected homes are available with contributions towards deposits or Stamp Duty, while the developments also offer Home Exchange and Assisted Move options. The Neighton, a three-bedroom home, is available through the Discount Market Value (DMV) scheme, potentially offering eligible buyers a 25% reduction on the cost of their new home.
Both developments offer Miller Homes’ Part Exchange service, which can provide buyers with a simpler route to moving by helping remove the uncertainty of selling their existing property.
The homes are also designed with energy efficiency in mind, with Miller Homes highlighting features including energy-efficient appliances, water-efficient sanitaryware and low-energy or LED lighting.
