A community fund ran by five-star housebuilder Miller Homes has provided vital funding to five North East community groups and charities.

A Space 2 Grow, Chopwell Community Association, Cramlington in the Community, Seaham Gymnastics Club and South Shields and Westoe Sports Club have all received grants that will help them continue delivering important projects and services in their respective communities.

The Miller Homes Community Fund was established to support charities and community groups across the UK, with each of its regional offices allocated £10,000 annually to support worthy causes and organisations.

The fund awards grants of between £250 and £2,000 to projects that promote health and wellbeing, sport, education, and the wider community. Funding rounds take place twice a year, with applications welcomed from local charities, grassroots organisations and community groups working to make a positive difference in their local area.
