Community groups, charities and grassroots sports clubs are amongst those being invited to apply for a share of a £75,000 fund in 2023 as The Inn Collection Group launches its Give Inn Back campaign.

Established in 2022, Give Inn Back is an initiative that grants £2,500 to each of the company’s pub with rooms sites across the north of England and North Wales, with the teams at the sites choosing which causes in their local community to support.

A total of £44,000 was awarded across the North East, Cumbria and North Yorkshire in the first year of the initiative, with a total of 27 good causes receiving funds from 23 of The Inn Collection Group’s properties.

The fund will grow with 12 sites reopening following refurbishment by December, ensuring even more support is offered across the estate.

Allocating funds in two windows, Give Inn Back is driven by the teams at The Inn Collection Group’s properties with the decision of which organisations or endeavours to support lying with them.

Inns can donate to a charity of their choice, get behind a local community activity or support a colleague who either dedicates their own time to make a positive charitable change, or needs investment for a particularly exceptional endeavour.

With a bigger fund available in 2023 and the company looking to help an even broader range of organisations, local causes can put themselves forward for consideration this year by their local inn.

“We understand the responsibilities we have to support the communities where we have inns and by allowing our teams at the sites to determine how to award their Give Inn Back fund, we are able to do this in a really effective way.

“There were some brilliant causes helped in 2022 and we hope by inviting introductions in 2023 we will be able to help an even broader range of causes and activities.” 

To propose your cause to your local The Inn Collection Group property, email (email address TBC) with a short description of your activities and how a donation through the Give Inn Back scheme would make a difference to you.

The information will then be passed on to the teams at your inn for their consideration, with windows for awards running between March 1 and April 30 and July 1 and August 31.
