An exclusive collaboration of fashion, ambition and Northern flair brought together some of the region’s most influential women for a standout style moment.
On Thursday 29th January, Seaham Hall played host to the North East Style Summit, an exclusive invitation-only event that celebrated style, success and Northern confidence – cementing the region’s reputation as a serious force in fashion, business and culture.
Set within the five-star luxury of Seaham Hall, the summit brought an afternoon of inspiration, conversation and high hospitality, where Northern glamour met global style.
Guests were welcomed with a Taittinger Champagne reception and canapes before enjoying a gorgeous locally sourced lunch in the ballroom, setting the tone for an afternoon that blended elevated capsule dressing, with day to night dazzle and meaningful conversation and connection.
At the heart of the event was a panel discussion hosted by Kirsty Ostell, Managing Director of O Agency, alongside Kate Rose, founder of jewellery, lifestyle and concept clothing brand TUTTI, alongside Nieve Jones, representing iconic British footwear brand Terry de Havilland. The conversation explored capsule dressing, brand longevity, confidence in personal style and the power of women supporting women – all through a distinctly Northern lens.
Guests enjoyed a curated capsule style showcase, an immersive take on modern dressing, with the perfect accessories to take classic day looks to stand out nighttime looks. The afternoon concluded with networking in the Champagne Lounge.
The North East Style Summit was delivered in partnership with a carefully selected group of brand collaborators, each chosen for their alignment with quality, craftsmanship and contemporary luxury. Partners included Aston Martin Newcastle, O Agency, The Ladies Collective, TUTTI, Terry de Havilland, and Seaham Hall, whose coastal setting and reputation for world-class hospitality provided the perfect backdrop for the event.
Speaking after the event, Kirsty Ostell said: “The North East Style Summit was about more than fashion, it was about confidence, community and celebrating the calibre of women and brands we have right here in the region. There’s a real appetite for events like this in the North East, and Seaham Hall was the perfect setting to bring it to life.”
The summit marks the first of what is expected to become a recurring fixture on the North East’s social and style calendar, championing Northern talent while connecting it with a wider national and global conversation around fashion, entrepreneurship and modern luxury.
Ross Grieve, Managing Director at Seaham Hall, commented: “Seaham Hall has always been about championing exceptional experiences and celebrating the very best of the North East. The North East Style Summit was a perfect reflection of that, bringing together inspiring women and iconic brands in a way that felt both luxurious and proudly Northern.
“We were delighted to host the summit and to see Seaham Hall become the backdrop for such a powerful and positive celebration of style, ambition and community.”
