I am delighted to welcome you to this edition of Portfolio North, which arrives at an exciting time for Bradley Hall.
Across our new network of national offices, our teams are working to grow our presence across the UK, deliver exceptional service and play our part in driving forward economic momentum. This issue highlights our latest growth, achievements, and the people who make it possible.
Over the past few years, we have continued to strengthen our position as the region’s leading full-service property firm. Our strategic appointments across the UK, from Cumbria and Manchester to Birmingham and Leeds, reflect not only our national growth but our commitment to investing in expertise where it matters most for clients.
Our new, national Auctions service continues to gather pace – our innovative approach combines technology and an unrivalled personal expert service to achieve the best results for our clients. The expansion of our Partner Agents Programme means that our reach is now truly nationwide, while retaining the local insight from our partner estate agency firms and the professional service from our experienced and dedicated Auctions team.
We’re developing our core services and making some big moves across our general practice, commercial and residential offices across the North East, North West, West Midlands, Yorkshire and our most recent office launch in Oxfordshire – more details to follow on that soon. Our Gosforth office, now strengthened with new leadership, is delivering new pre-listing building surveys, helping sellers achieve faster, more secure transactions. Meanwhile, our Leeds and Manchester teams are seeing record uplift as demand for high-quality commercial agency and RICS Valuation services continue to rise across Yorkshire and the North West.
In my comment article, I explore why the era of “corporate comfort” is ending as employers and employees face rising costs, tighter regulations, and growing job insecurity. Bureaucracy and slow decision-making are pushing talented people away from large organisations and towards agile, owner-led firms that move quickly, reward ambition and offer real visibility. Drawing on Bradley Hall’s growth journey, I explain why the future belongs to businesses that are entrepreneurial, people-focused and unafraid to take risks—because in today’s climate, only the relentless will thrive.
We recently held our eighth Festive Fundraiser which brought together 350 of our national colleagues, clients and associates. It was an incredibly proud moment for us as our new colleagues from across the country got to see first-hand our scale and what we can achieve. I look forward to replicating this success in our new region’s with the support of our dedicated, tenacious and talented colleagues.
Our fundraising total reached £420,000 for local charities and community causes and a great day was had by all.
2025 has been another challenging, but productive year of growth. I look forward to what 2026 will bring for Bradley Hall and our team.
