An office in a popular Newcastle Industrial Estate has welcomed a new tenant, thanks to property support from Bradley Hall.

DCS House, located within Camperdown Industrial Estate near Killingworth, has been let to Living to Learn North East, a comprehensive day service provider that specialises in supporting young adults aged 19-30 with additional needs and disabilities to reach their full potential through education.

DCS House will be used by Living to Learn as a base for its operations across North Tyneside, providing accessible spaces for young people in the region. The property, which spans two floors of office space, was let to Living to Learn by Lucy Mouter at full-service property firm, Bradley Hall.

Founded in 2019, Living to Learn has grown from initially supporting four young adults to now supporting 64, and the leasing of their new space at DCS House will allow this number to expand.

Set over 5,744 square feet, the unit is set out as a modern working office with cellular suites, meeting rooms, kitchens with breakout areas, toilets and shower facilities, as well as a large secure car park. Construction work has begun at DCS House and the team are preparing to open their new site to service users in May 2026.

Lucy Mouter, Agency Surveyor at Bradley Hall, commented on the leasing: “It was a pleasure to support the team at Living to Learn to coordinate the leasing of DCS House on a long-term basis. This will allow them to expand and develop their services lines and support more young adults with additional needs and disabilities with day care services and training to bolster their futures.

“I wish Jen, Ken, Kate, Dan and the team all the best in their new home.”

DCS House will offer young adults art sessions, cooking lessons, music and drama sessions and a number of skills workshops in specially constructed kitchen and salon areas. There are also areas for meetings and relaxation, with accessibility across both floors.

Dan from Living to Learn commented: “The letting of DCS House will allow us to offer opportunities to young adults with additional needs and disabilities, supporting them to work on their skills and independence for everyday life.

“Our new space will also allow us to support even more service users, and our Camperdown site will be a pathway for our older service users to continue their independence and social skills in a specialist setting. DCS House will become a safe space for them to attend and develop their skills through our life-long learning programme.

“Bradley Hall has been a great support in getting our leases arranged and ensuring it was a smooth transaction for all involved.”

Living to Learn will employ four members of staff at DCS House, with more expected to be appointed as demand for their specialist services increases.
