Hexham based premium drinks and mixers brand, Fentimans, has filmed the World’s Longest Advert in the Northumberland countryside.
The advert was filmed in the countryside close to the Sycamore Gap, Northumberland, over the course of 7 Days and will air from Thursday 1st June on www.longestadvertever.com. The advert has been created to celebrate Fentimans Botanical Brewing process, which takes at least 7 Days to complete. A slow process which is essential to creating the brands unparallel distinct depth of flavour.
Within the continuous 7 Day footage, Fentimans’ Master Brewer will oversee the Botanical Brewing process and patiently wait for the liquid to develop to his satisfaction. During that time, he will attempt to keep himself entertained by partaking in various activities, from mastering the art of juggling and plate spinning, to trialling yoga and learning to speak Bulgarian – a nod to the Bulgarian Rose Oil used in Fentimans Rose Lemonade.
Jayne Andrews, Marketing Director at Fentimans, comments: “Here at Fentimans, we’re proud of our North East heritage so when it came to deciding where to film the World’s Longest Advert, the Northumberland Countryside was a no-brainer.”
“As well as our Northern roots, we are known for our unique 7 Day Botanical Brewing process as it’s what gives our drinks the distinct and complex depth of flavour our customers know and love. What better way to bring our slow process to life, than to set it up for 7 Days for the world to see in the place we originated!”
As part of the campaign, Fentimans are also running a competition from 01-30 June to give viewers the chance to win prizes by spotting only one of eight surprises that take place throughout the 7 Day advert. Prizes include a 4 day trip for two to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens in New York, tickets to Kew The Music festival, dining vouchers for London’s Sky Garden and Fortnum & Mason picnic hampers.
