Fenwick Newcastle’s much-loved rooftop and terrace, Roof Thirty Nine, returns ready for summer with a brand-new dining experience in partnership with North East premium soft drinks brand, Fentimans, and modern Mediterranean restaurant, Fuego.

Launched on 1st May, the renewed partnership between Fentimans and Fenwick builds on the success of last year’s Botanical Garden at Roof Thirty Nine, with the addition of Fuego’s signature flair and flavour to create a vibrant Mediterranean-inspired escape for the new season.

Open to visitors until the end of September, guests can expect panoramic city views, al fresco dining, vibrant Fentimans cocktails and a sun-soaked menu of Fuego favourites designed for sharing, relaxing and celebrating all summer long.

Diners can enjoy a carefully curated small plates menu, featuring Mediterranean classics including gambas and chorizo skewers with Piri Piri sauce, patatas bravas served with roasted garlic aioli and courgette, apple and Ibores with Chardonnay dressing.

Also available will be a selection of large plates, including the signature spicy Italian and pork Fuego burger with aioli tartare and rocket, herb-baked bream with lemon tabbouleh and marinated chicken with guindilla relish, spring salad and halloumi.

To complement the menu, visitors can select from an expertly crafted cocktail list which celebrates the bold, botanical flavours of Fentimans. Signature cocktails include the Summer Sunset which combines tequila, limoncello and Fentimans Victorian Lemonade, the Dirty G&T, served with Hepple Gin, Noilly Prat and Fentimans Indian Tonic Water, and the Frozen Pomegranate Mule, blending Hepple vodka, pomegranate syrup, lime juice and Fentimans Ginger Beer.

A range of summer spritzes will also be served, including the Fentimans Rose Spritz, Limoncello Spritz, Elderflower Spritz and Valencian Aperol Spritz.

Roof Thirty Nine by Fentimans and Fuego (Mediterranean Edition) will be open on Monday-Wednesday from 11am-7pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11am and 8pm and Sunday from 11am-5pm.
