Renowned Jesmond restaurant Peace & Loaf is proudly returning to its culinary roots while embracing a bold new direction.

Renowned Jesmond restaurant Peace & Loaf is proudly returning to its culinary roots while embracing a bold new direction.

With a refreshed focus on Best of British, seasonal, and foraged produce, the restaurant is preparing to roll out a new era of food and drink experiences, led by a dynamic new leadership duo.

Chef Dave Coulson, known for his distinctive and imaginative cooking, is joined by James Corrighan, the restaurant’s new Manager. Together, they will bring a renewed sense of energy and creativity to Peace & Loaf, blending fine-dining principles with immersive and sensory-led experiences.

The coming months will see the introduction of:

  • New seasonal menus, grounded in British ingredients and local provenance
  • Innovative drinks pairings, moving beyond the traditional wine list to include teas, fortified wines, infusions, and surprising combinations designed to heighten flavour and experience
  • One-off themed dining and drinks events, including concepts such as “Forage & Ferment”, “The Unexpected Pairings” and “Coast to Countryside”

“We’re coming back to what made Peace & Loaf special, great produce, wild ideas, and making people feel like they’ve discovered something new,” said Coulson. “This is about more than just dinner, it’s about the experience.”

Peace & Loaf invites old friends and new diners alike to discover what’s next, starting this summer.
