New restaurant now open in Seaham

An exciting new family-owned restaurant has recently opened in Seaham, thanks to property support from Bradley Hall.

The unit, on North Terrace in Seaham, has been let to Razz and Boxa Ahmed, brothers who appeared on Come Dine With Me Professionals. The site will become their fourth venue, trading as Namaste Prosecco Microbar.

The location will combine Indian flavours with a contemporary twist, bringing Indian fusion to Seaham.

The property, which was formerly a restaurant called Tide, was let to the Ahmed brothers by Emma Owens, Surveyor and Office Manager at Bradley Hall’s Sunderland office.

Emma commented on the deal; “It was a pleasure to support Razz and Boxa to open their fourth venue in the North East.

“Seaham is quickly becoming a hotspot for dining, with a number of popular venues along the seafront. Licensed and leisure units in the town rarely become available, so it was beneficial for all parties involved that this letting was completed efficiently.

“I wish the whole team at Namaste all the best in their new venture.”

Led by head chef Abdul Shanoor, the restaurant will also operate a late-night cocktail bar, with the full venue having space for 50 covers inside and 8 outside.

The unit was let as a fully fitted restaurant, with air cooled cellar, commercial kitchen, CCTV, music system, air conditioning and having undergone a full refurbishment in 2024.

Located on the seafront, North Terrace overlooks the seafront and marina and is neighboured by a number of cafes and restaurants.

Located just five miles from Sunderland, Seaham has been significantly redeveloped in recent years and is popular with locals and visitors looking to enjoy the Durham Heritage Coast or search for sea glass on the multiple beaches in the town.

Bradley Hall, which has 12 offices across the UK, supports the acquisition, disposal and leasing of commercial units across the country.

As a full-service property firm, Bradley Hall offers a range of in-house departments designed to provide end-to-end property support for projects of all sizes, including Mortgages, Auctions, Building Surveying, Property Management, Valuations, Estate Agency, Asset Management and Land and Development.
