Gateshead-based Isoler proudly marks its 31st anniversary by announcing significant additions to its senior management team.

Gateshead-based Isoler proudly marks its 31st anniversary by announcing significant additions to its senior management team.

The company, part of the Northern Bear PLC group, has promoted two long-serving team members, Josh Watson and Paul Watkins, to bolster its leadership.

Their promotions signal a pivotal moment in Isoler’s journey as it continues to establish itself as a leading authority in building integrity services, particularly within the fire safety sector and looks ahead to expanding the business even further.

Josh Watson, who started with the team in 2014 as a trainee quantity surveyor has been promoted to the role of Operations Director. His extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the company’s operations make him an invaluable asset in driving Isoler’s operational excellence.

Paul Watkins, who is another seasoned professional within the team having started in 1998 as a general operative trainee, has replaced Josh as Contracts Director. His expertise in managing contracts and ensuring the seamless execution of projects aligns perfectly with Isoler’s commitment to quality and safety.

Managing Director, John Gilstin, said: “I’m delighted to be making this announcement, especially this week as we celebrate more than 30 years of our business.

“Throughout this time, we have always provided opportunities for our team to enhance their skills and grow and progress in whichever way they want to. Both Josh and Paul are incredible examples of how we grow and nurture our own talent and their promotions will further strengthen the company’s capabilities and ensure its ongoing success.”

Isoler, with offices in Gateshead and Leeds and its own training facility in Sunderland, has experienced consistent growth and expansion in recent years, extending its services nationwide.

Josh Watson, newly appointed Operations Director at Isoler, expresses gratitude for nearly a decade with the team and looks forward to shaping the business’s future: “With a future focus on growth, customer needs, and maintaining high standards, I’m really privileged to be a part of the team helping to shape the business for the next 10 years and beyond.

“Our growth will come from listening to our customers’ needs and the demands of the sector to help us identify new clients and opportunities to introduce new services. As a result of this, we’ll be looking to expand our operational expertise in new areas across the country.

“We are one of the largest employers in our sector who directly employ all their staff and having invested heavily in our own in-house training facility, we plan to offer a training programme for a variety of roles to ensure we remain committed to investing in training and job creation to nurture the next generation of excellence in the industry.”

As a part of the Northern Bear PLC group, Isoler is well-positioned to continue delivering quality building integrity solutions to its clients which include both public sector and the construction industry.
