A North East headquartered insurance provider has been nominated for a top industry award recognising its excellence in service and customer experience.
Collingwood Insurance, which specialises in insuring learner drivers, taxi drivers and couriers, has been nominated for The Best Motor Insurance Provider award at the prestigious Insurance Choice Awards.
The insurance provider, which is headquartered in North Shields and employs 181 people, will find out if it has won the national award at a ceremony in London on 9 November.

The Insurance Choice Awards is run by Smart Money People, the UK’s dedicated financial services review site, and recognises the achievements of the insurance industry, from industry giants to InsurTech start-ups.
Now in its eighth year, the awards ceremony is seen as ‘a true endorsement of customer satisfaction’ as the winners are selected from consumer votes.
