A North East marketing agency is continuing on its positive growth journey with the appointment of Michael Pagan as its new managing director.
With over 20 years’ experience in branding, design and marketing consultancy, Michael joins the team at Blue Moon Marketing at a pivotal time, having doubled its headcount in the last 12 months.
After 15 years on the senior management team at DECIDE, the UK’s largest established independent creative consultancy and holding the role of managing director for the last three years, Michael felt he was ready for a change of direction.
“I will always be proud of my career with DECIDE and what we achieved, but after 19 years I felt the time was right to take on a fresh challenge,” said Michael.
“It’s important to me that I continue to grow professionally by applying my expertise in different clients and sectors – and have the opportunity to experience different workplace cultures.
“I’ve followed Blue Moon’s journey since the very start. It’s already a great agency, founded with a clear purpose – to provide clients with a very different way to engage with marketing partners, and an incredibly flexible way for clients to bring high quality, specialist expertise into their businesses in today’s unpredictable world.

Since launching in 2021 by founder and brand strategy director, Anne Reynolds, the business has gone from strength to strength.
Now employing a team of seven, and serving 30 clients across the North East and North West, the business is getting ready for another exciting year.
