Yorkshire Children’s Charity is proud to announce that it will be offering the perfect alternative to the Royal Ascot this year here in Yorkshire, and all for a good cause.

Taking place on Thursday 20th June, The Yorkshire Polo at Allerton Country Park will see two thrilling polo matches take centre stage, showcasing both talent and athleticism of seasoned players and rising stars from God’s Own Country, followed by a three-course dinner and silent auction to raise money for Yorkshire Children’s Charity.

The Yorkshire Polo will be followed by a Clay Shoot event to continue the fundraising efforts on Friday 21st June 2024. Regardless of if you’re a seasoned shooter or fancy trying your hand at a new sport, there will be plenty of opportunity to showcase your marksmanship skills in a friendly competition at
Allerton Country Park.

Proceeds from both events will directly benefit Yorkshire Children’s Charity and enable us to continue supporting disadvantaged across the region. Sport, entertainment, and philanthropy will be at the forefront of the polo and clay shoot, but no guest will leave hungry, with the talented offerings from The Hog and Apple, who will be catering for both events.

Indulge in an exquisite menu crafted just for The Yorkshire Polo, starting with a beautifully presented starter of black treacle cured salmon; followed by a sirloin and short rib croquette main course. And to top it all off, treat yourself to a delightful Solero tube dessert that combines fine dining with everyone’s favourite summertime treat: it’s the ideal palette cleanser to finish the night with.
