From October, The Glass House at Wynyard Hall will be launching a brand-new menu, with freshly stone-baked pizzas at its heart.
Designed to bring people together over simple, flavour-packed food, the menu also includes generous sharing boards, hearty mains and indulgent desserts – making The Glass House a welcoming spot for relaxed dining.
Set within the grounds of Wynyard Hall, The Glass House offers a light-filled space with views across the gardens. It’s a laid-back, family-friendly restaurant where everyone is welcome – whether you’re calling in with friends for pizza and wine, bringing the kids for a midweek meal, or enjoying a leisurely dinner at the weekend.
The new pizza line-up includes Neapolitan with buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil (£15), Nduja with hot honey (£16), and mushroom and truffle (£16), alongside classics like the Margarita and cured meats with black olive.
Beyond pizza, the menu features a wide range of seasonal dishes such as braised short rib with confit carrot, lamb ragu with pappardelle pasta, the Glass House burger with rosemary fries, and gnocchi with tomato, pesto and black olive crumb. Small plates and sharing boards set the tone for a sociable meal, while desserts such as sticky toffee pudding with rum and raisin ice cream and The Glass House tiramisu ensure a sweet finish.
“We wanted to create a menu that celebrates flavour and simplicity in a relaxed, welcoming setting. From stone-baked pizzas to seasonal dishes and indulgent desserts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy – whether you’re dining with family, friends or just dropping in for a casual bite. We want The Glass House to feel like a place you can return to time and time again,” says Thea Linton, Glass House Manager at Wynyard Hall.
Sunday Lunch also continues to be served each week, reassuring loyal guests that one of The Glass House’s most popular offerings is here to stay.
To celebrate the launch, The Glass House has unveiled its own dedicated Instagram account (@wynyardhallglasshouse) sharing dishes, behind-the-scenes moments and a flavour of what diners can expect.
With demand expected to be high, booking is recommended. Tables can be reserved online at: wynyardhall.co.uk/the-glass-house/.
The Glass House is open Wednesday to Saturday from 1am until 11pm, with Sunday Lunch available every Sunday from 11am until 6pm.
