Teesside Airport will expand its Channel Islands connections next summer with a new link to Guernsey.
Operated by Premier Holidays, the service will run from May until September, giving Teesside passengers even more choice for their summer getaways.
The new route builds on the ongoing success of Teesside’s popular Jersey service.
Flights to Guernsey will touch down in Jersey, allowing holidaymakers to enjoy two of the Channel Islands’ most beautiful destinations from Teesside.
Guernsey offers visitors a mix of breathtaking coastal scenery, historic sites, boutique shopping and fine dining.
From exploring the cobbled streets of St Peter Port, to relaxing on the sands of Vazon Bay, or discovering the island’s Second World War heritage, there’s plenty to enjoy.
Summer in Guernsey also offers a packed events calendar, with open-air concerts, seafood festivals, and stunning floral displays available to visit.
Phil Forster, Managing Director of Teesside Airport, said: “We’re thrilled to be strengthening our partnership with Premier Holidays and bringing even more choice to people across Teesside and the wider region. Guernsey is a fantastic destination, and our Channel Islands services have long been popular.
“This new link gives our passengers the chance to discover something new – and it’s another example of how Teesside is continuing to grow, offering more routes and more opportunities.”
Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen added: “It’s always good to bring in more routes to our airport and make it easier for local people to fly from here, so it’s fantastic to have secured a new link to Guernsey next summer and I’d urge people to keep using us.
“We’ve got a busy winter ahead at the airport with Malaga and Alicante running all year round on Ryanair – and the Amsterdam KLM route continuing to link us to the world as the nights draw in.
“We’re working extremely hard hammering on the door of operators to bring even more routes and flights from Teesside for next summer.”
The Teesside to Guernsey link will be available as part of Premier Holidays’ 2026 summer programme, offering a range of flexible packages and holiday durations.
Mark Godfrey, Director of Premier Holidays, added: “We have worked closely with Teesside Airport for a number of years and are delighted to once again be operating a weekly service to Jersey through the summer months but giving clients greater choice in 2026 by offering an onward flight to Guernsey opening up both a new destination and island-hopping opportunities across the Channel Islands.”
Flights will operate every Tuesday and are bookable with Premier Holidays or via local travel agents.
