AN AWARD winning North East venue has joined the likes of Claridge’s, The Savoy and The Ritz in a list of the top 10 hotel interiors in the UK.
With 127 bedrooms and suites and a number of luxury treehouses, Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa, at County Durham, is a popular destination for guests visiting from across the region and beyond.
And a recent study on the most Instagrammable hotel interiors awarded the venue fifth place – the only North East hotel to make the top 10.
The venue is known for its opulent décor, with a number of individually decorated treehouses on offer and four more currently in development, which will be available for bookings from early 2022.
The study, which was carried out by decorating brand, Harris Brushes, analysed the number of Instagram posts featured at each venue, with 10,500 pictures posted by guests at Ramside.
John Adamson, who owns Ramside Hall Hotel, is delighted to have made the top 10.
“We’re honoured to have taken fifth position and the study has placed us among some really excellent hotels,” he said.
“Our interiors are something we really pride ourselves on and we’re currently putting the finishing touches to the inside our new treehouses – which are guaranteed to be something special.”
Other hotels in the top 10 include Edinburgh’s The Witchery, Manchester’s Hotel Gotham and The Crab and Lobster, at York.
