An award-winning housebuilder has offered prospective buyers a first-look inside a major £10m development in County Durham.

Homes by Carlton’s Woodberry Park development will see 48 new high-quality homes built in the village of Staindrop.

Now the regional developer has opened the door of its showhome for the site, which will feature a range of three, four and five-bedroom homes starting from £279,000.

Sales Manager Lee Bradford said there has already been “strong interest” in Woodberry Park, which, alongside Homes by Carlton’s other developments, is helping create hundreds of jobs in the region over the next few years.

“Woodberry Park is one of our most exciting sites, and there’s a real need for these homes. It is a stunning development which has really caught the eye of buyers and the strong initial interest reflects that,” he said.

“Our showhome is based on The Richmond, a three-bedroom home that is perfect for couples, families and individuals alike and really illustrates the quality of this development and our ‘luxury as standard’ approach to building homes.

“Almost a quarter of homes at Woodberry Park have already been sold or reserved, and we firmly expect there will be phenomenal interest in the remaining properties, which are hi-spec and include everything from solar panels and EV chargers to integrated appliances as standard.”

For over two decades, the County Durham-based company has steadily established itself as one of the North East’s premier housebuilders.

Currently, it is overseeing a string of developments including the company’s biggest to date – the 198-home Middleton Waters site in Middleton St George – while Woodberry Park has been made possible thanks to Next Level Developments, which is Karbon Homes’ Joint Venture funding arm.

Each development forms part of a £100m commitment to housebuilding in the North East over the coming years, helping towards the Government’s target to create over 12,000 new homes in the region annually.

“The North East desperately needs more high-quality homes, and at Homes by Carlton, we love playing our part by creating exciting communities like Woodberry Park,” said Norman Peterson, Co-Founder and Chairman.

“We all know how special our region is, and Woodberry Park is the perfect, idyllic haven to call home.

“Staindrop itself is a beautiful, charming village and Woodberry Park has been crafted to complement that.”

The Richmond Showhome at Woodberry Park is open for appointments and walk-ins between Thursday and Monday (10am – 5pm). For more information and to book a visit, please visit https://www.homesbycarlton.com/woodberry-park.
