This marks the second consecutive year the hotel has received the prestigious accolade, celebrating the North East of England on a world stage.

Since last year, the hotel has undertaken several significant refurbishments, including a £1 million investment in the Outdoor Zen Garden within its world-renowned Serenity Spa, alongside the introduction of two refined hospitality offerings including Japanese-inspired spa restaurant, Geko, and Harvey’s Bar, a modern speakeasy inspired by the hotel’s remarkable history.
