Saltmoore, the serene coastal retreat in Sandsend, has expanded its offering with the launch of Pizzeria at The Beach House, which opened to the public on Saturday 12th July.
Open seven days a week during high season, the pizzeria brings a relaxed new energy to the Saltmoore estate. Guests can enjoy slow-fermented sourdough pizzas made to order, served in a welcoming indoor and outdoor setting. The menu is rooted in simplicity, with high-quality ingredients, seasonal specials and a focus on generous, honest flavour.
Led by Head Chef Adam Maddock, with Michelin-starred chef consultant Tommy Banks, the Pizzeria combines expert craftsmanship with a warm, casual dining experience.
The space is both family-friendly and dog-friendly, making it an ideal stop after a beach walk or for a relaxed visit with the whole family.
Adam Maddock, Head Chef at Saltmoore, said:
“The pizzeria is all about simplicity done well. We’ve focused on flavour, texture and quality ingredients, no shortcuts, just proper, satisfying pizza that brings people together.”
Whether joining for a casual dining experience, dropping in for a drink at the bar, or collecting pizzas to enjoy at home, the Pizzeria at The Beach House is open to both Saltmoore guests and non-residents.
Brian van Oosten, General Manager at Saltmoore, added:
“We’re thrilled to open up a new, more casual space for our guests and the local community. The pizzeria brings a different rhythm to Saltmoore, relaxed, sociable and in tune with our beautiful coastal setting.”
Pizzeria at The Beach House is open Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 20:30 and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 20:30. Pizzas are available to enjoy on-site or to order for collection. Reservations and walk-ins are welcome.
