Moët & Chandon returns to The Orchard at Grantley Hall this winter, as the hotel’s much-loved indoor-outdoor dining destination transforms with deep navy tones, frosted florals and the soft sparkle of chandelier light for a chic seasonal escape.
Following its previous residency at The Orchard, the iconic Champagne House returns for a new seasonal takeover, bringing the unmistakable spirit of Moët & Chandon to the heart of the North Yorkshire countryside.
A brand-new menu concept will embrace the season with warming, comforting dishes made for winter dining. At the heart of the menu are new sharing experiences, including a Traditional Cheese Fondue served with cured ham, heritage potatoes, cornichons, balsamic onion and sourdough croutons. For something sweet, and for the first time at The Orchard, a Chocolate Fountain for two will bring a playful finish to the experience, served with marshmallows, madeleines, strawberries and banana for dipping. Alongside the sharing dishes, guests can enjoy winter favourites including French Onion Soup with Gruyère croutons, Woodland Mushroom Arancini with truffle mayonnaise and shaved winter truffle, and Wild Venison Sausages with smoked cheddar mash, cavolo nero and blackberries.
The new concept marks the latest evolution of The Orchard, which has continued to transform throughout 2026 in tune with the changing seasons. Following The Orchard in Bloom throughout spring and summer, the chic winter lodge brings a richer and more intimate character to the space while retaining the relaxed approach to drinking and dining that has made The Orchard a firm favourite with guests.
“The Orchard has always been a space that evolves with the seasons and this winter we wanted to create somewhere that feels warm, inviting and completely transporting,” says Nuno César de Sá, General Manager at Grantley Hall. “We’re delighted to welcome Moët & Chandon back to The Orchard and bring together beautiful interiors with festive menus to create a space that truly captures the spirit of winter at Grantley Hall.”
The Orchard welcomes both hotel residents and non-residents, whether visiting for lunch, drinks, dinner or an evening of Champagne, with reservations recommended for guests wishing to dine.
