Newcastle’s Hancock Gallery has announced its next eagerly-awaited workshop on Saturday 10th February – hosted in the enchanting setting of the three-storey art gallery.

This time, it’s a Valentine’s Paint and Sip Workshop: Tote Bag Edition, for friends, a ‘date night’ alternative, or those looking to connect with like-minded, creative folk.

The previous Paint and Sip Workshop saw a vibrant gathering of creative minds who produced stunning designs on canvas tote bags. Attendees were captivated by the cosy ambience of the gallery, which seamlessly blended with the changing seasons outside, providing a unique and inspiring backdrop for artistic expression.

Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a glass of fizz to set the mood for an afternoon of artistic exploration. In the spirit of love, this upcoming event celebrates creativity, friendship and empowerment. Imagine vibrant shades of fuchsia, lively purples, and bold splashes of confidence.

Held in the spacious gallery, its prime location on the edge of the City Centre also ensures your creative journey doesn’t end there. After the workshop, you can seamlessly continue your afternoon at some of the city’s best restaurants and bars in Jesmond or Newcastle City Centre.

Whether you’re a seasoned artist or haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school, our workshop offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for everyone to experiment with ideas, colours, and designs.

Tickets are available from Eventbrite for £25, which includes all the necessary materials for crafting, as well as a complimentary glass of Prosecco upon arrival. Spaces are limited, so we recommend securing your spot early to avoid disappointment.
