And while most of the tickets for the Fireworks Extravaganza at the hotel in Sedgefield for Saturday 5 November are gone, there is still time buy the last remaining tickets for Sunday 6 November -if people are fast.

While other displays around the area have been cancelled, upset families can still have a memorable night at Hardwick, with a whole host of entertainment on offer along with the spectacular fireworks display.

Fairground rides, street food vans and hot drinks stations to keep out the cost are also on offer.

And anyone who wants to enjoy the experience in style can book a VIP bench for up to six people for £70, which includes seating on the lower lawn and two car parking passes for the rear of the hotel.

General admission for Saturday is now sold out and there are only a handful of VIP packages remaining so anyone who has missed out can still buy tickets for Sunday, which are £6 each for general admission.
