Portfolio North, a northern publication in association with Bradley Hall Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents, is supporting two local charities, Marie Curie’s Newcastle Hospice, and Heel and Toe Children’s Charity.

The team at Portfolio North will support both charities through promotional material throughout each charity’s events calendar for the next year. This support will be demonstrated through promotional editorial material featuring in the print copy of the magazine, as well as through a range of digital marketing and social media fundraising possibilities.

Portfolio North is a business, lifestyle and property magazine which is one of the most read print magazines in the North. The companies print copies are distributed throughout the most prestigious residential areas across the North East and North West, as well as having distribution stations in both region’s busiest high streets.

Cassie Moyse, director of Portfolio North said: “We are incredibly excited to be able to support both Marie Curie’s Newcastle Hospice and Heel and Toe Children’s Charity.

“As Portfolio North is produced in partnership with Bradley Hall, a firm which raised fifty thousand pounds for Marie Curie and Heel and Toe at the 2021 annual festive fundraiser, as well as previous fundraising of over seventy thousand pounds, it made a great deal of sense for us to continue supporting the charities through our publication.

“We have an extensive calendar of exciting plans and media opportunities in the pipeline for the next year, including stories with the children from Heel and Toe, and material to support The Great Daffodil Appeal with Marie Curie. We greatly hope our support will make a difference to raising awareness for both charities.”

Douglas Long, chief executive of Heel & Toe said: “Heel and Toe receives no government funding and needs over £500,000 each year to provide these vital services, so we are very grateful for all support.”

Adam Serfontein, MD of The Hanro Group and chair of the development board at Marie Curie Newcastle’s Hospice said: “Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end of life charity, but since the pandemic they need your help now more than ever. After missing out on nearly 18 months’ worth of fundraising opportunities, the charity’s Newcastle base is £175,000 behind their usual fundraising targets. Support such as that offered by the likes of Bradley Hall and Portfolio North will make a massive difference.”
