North East lifestyle brand TUTTI (formerly Tutti & Co) is marking a pivotal chapter with a series of big announcements – a new brand identity, strategic leadership and a flagship concept store.
The handcrafted jewellery and accessories business has launched under the new brand name TUTTI and appointed highly respected former boss of Whistles, Helen Williamson, as its new fractional Managing Director.
Founder Kate Rose, from Tynemouth, has also invested in a move to a stylish new concept store in the heart of the regeneration of North Shields at Harbour House, the reimagined market building now home to a range of creative and lifestyle businesses, from an artisan bakery to a yoga studio.

Kate Rose, founder of Tutti said: “Turning points in business don’t usually come 20 years in, and certainly not while walking down a back street in North Shields. Finding our new home at Harbour House coincided with being introduced to Helen at a business event, and everything just clicked into place – it felt like serendipity!
“I would never have just picked a pretty store on a High Street for the brand, which is why we’ve never had our own shop until now – but this space at Harbour House is more than a store, it sums up the TUTTI woman’s lifestyle.
“We have designed our concept store to be a calming space filled with scented oils that creates an emotional reaction, where customers can see our studio designers at work, view our collections and collaborate with us, before enjoying a coffee and pastry, doing a yoga class or buying some flowers all in the same place.”
Helen Williamson commented on joining TUTTI: “I wanted to return to my native North East to give back my years of experience and expertise in the fashion industry and help more scaling businesses achieve success, creating more opportunities for people to remain in the region I love. Being able to do that in the beating heart of North Shields’ regeneration, just steps from where I grew up is a dream come true.”
Kate and Helen have big plans for TUTTI to become a global lifestyle brand and build on its already successful jewellery range in Fenwick and John Lewis stores with further retail listings worldwide.
