GT3 unveils refreshed brand and new website as it enters its second decade
The AJ100 practice has launched a new identity and website reflecting its evolution, expanded expertise and longstanding commitment to People Architecture.

The AJ100 practice has launched a new identity and website reflecting its evolution, expanded expertise and longstanding commitment to People Architecture.

The refresh comes as the practice celebrates its tenth year and looks ahead to the next chapter of its growth.

As part of this evolution, the practice will now be known simply as GT3, rather than GT3 Architects, reflecting the breadth of expertise it now offers across Architecture, Interiors and Consultancy and providing a clearer picture of the people, projects and thinking behind the business.

It marks the latest stage in the evolution of a practice that began in 2016 and has since grown into a national, multi-skilled team with studios in Newcastle, Nottingham, London and Belfast.

While its identity has evolved, the philosophy at the heart of GT3 remains unchanged: People Architecture.

Developed and refined over more than a decade, GT3’s People Architecture approach puts people at the heart of every conversation and every design decision. By understanding what clients, communities, operators, users and project teams need from a place, both today and in the future, GT3 combines evidence, creativity and technical expertise to solve complex challenges through design.

The approach is driven by two ambitions: driving commercial success and empowering social impact, recognising that the best projects can deliver both.

Simon Dunstan, co-founder and director at GT3, said: “Our tenth year felt like the right moment to look at how GT3 presents itself and make sure our identity reflects the practice we are today.

“We’ve grown significantly over the past decade, not only in terms of our people and geographical reach, but in the way we support our clients. Architecture remains fundamental to what we do, but our interiors and consultancy expertise has developed considerably, and those skills increasingly work together to help clients make better decisions and achieve stronger outcomes.

“Becoming GT3 gives us a much clearer way to communicate that breadth while keeping the philosophy that has guided us from the beginning firmly at the centre of the practice: People Architecture.”

The new website has been designed to bring that approach to life, using a simpler, more intuitive structure alongside greater use of project photography, video and people-focused content.

It provides a clearer overview of GT3’s work across its four core sectors – Sports and Leisure, Workplace, Residential and Hospitality – while showcasing the different ways its Architecture, Interiors and Consultancy teams can support clients from early strategy and briefing through to design, delivery and post-occupancy evaluation.

The website also gives greater prominence to the commercial and social outcomes behind GT3’s projects, demonstrating how considered design can reduce risk, support operational performance and long-term value while creating healthier, happier and more connected communities.

Mark Gowdridge, co-founder and director at GT3, added: “The places we design have always reflected who we are as a practice, and this refresh means our identity now does too.

“For us, good design goes beyond creating a great building or interior. It starts with understanding what success really looks like for the client and the people who will ultimately use that place.

“That means thinking about commercial viability, operational performance and long-term value alongside wellbeing, inclusivity and social impact. We don’t see those as competing priorities. The strongest projects deliver both, and our refreshed brand and website give us a much better platform to communicate that.”

The launch follows a milestone year for GT3 as the practice celebrates a decade of growth. Over that time, it has expanded its national presence, developed a multi-skilled team and built a portfolio of projects across the UK and internationally, while continuing to invest in its people and its approach to design.

As GT3 enters its second decade, its refreshed identity is intended to provide a stronger foundation for that next stage of development while remaining rooted in the same philosophy that has shaped the practice since its earliest days.
