Forty-nine affordable homes are set to be constructed in Yarm, thanks to property support from Bradley Hall.

The development at Green Lane, will see 49 2-and-3 bed homes constructed for North Star Housing Group, by Banks Homes and Duchy Homes.

Bradley Hall, the region’s largest full-service property firm, assisted in the disposal of the site for much needed affordable housing. North Star Housing Group is a North East based Housing Association who create safe and affordable homes for people in needs across the Tees Valley, North Yorkshire, County Durham and Tyne & Wear.

The development will include a mixture of house types, with 15 set for Rent to Buy and 34 earmarked for Affordable Rent options.

Yarm has seen a significant amount of regeneration in recent years, with a large number of housebuilders creating homes in the area, from exclusive developments to large-scale sites with new roads, community hubs and shops also earmarked for the area.

North Star Housing Group, one of the region’s well respected housing associations, is currently delivering new homes to meet needs in Ryhope, Middleton St George, Darlington and Newton Aycliffe and construct a mix of houses, bungalows and flats for Social or Affordable Rent, Rent to Buy and Shared Ownership.

Banks Homes’ Cornfields site is a collection of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes while Duchy’s Hall Wood Meadows will provide 137 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes within a site close to the banks of the River Tees.

The Georgian market town of Yarm benefits from a thriving high street, with a number of independent businesses, national retailers and restaurants all having sites in the town.
