Hay & Kilner has strengthened its Private Client team with the appointment of Claire French as Partner.
Claire brings extensive experience in Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Probate and Estate Planning, alongside her expertise in assisting in Court of Protection and Deputyship matters.Claire has a particular passion for assisting vulnerable clients.
Claire began her career as a Chartered Accountant in London before retraining as a solicitor. She has specialised in private client law since qualifying and has been based in the North East for over a decade.
She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), The Association of Lifetime Lawyers, and the Professional Deputies Forum.
Claire’s arrival comes as the team continues to expand in response to growing client demand. Hay & Kilner has recently welcomed several new colleagues, including Emma Pringle (Senior Associate), Felicity Nelson (Associate), Lewis Tromans (Paralegal) and Eva Deveci (Paralegal) making it one of the largest private client teams in the region.
