NEWCASTLE Racecourse is celebrating a standout Ladies Day, with over 19,000 racegoers in attendance on Saturday 25th July 2026, its highest attended Ladies Day in over a decade.

Ladies Day continues to be one of the region’s favourite summer events in the social calendar and with the racing event continuing to evolve this year in partnership with Say When bars, Newcastle Racecourse saw a 13% year on year increase in guests descending onto Gosforth Park for a day of fashion, fizz and raceday fun watching over 100 horses competing across the day.

The Racecourse saw anticipation start building during the weeks running up to Say When Ladies Day, with demand for 2026 tickets incredibly high. So much so, premier and hospitality completely sold out two days before the event.

Newcastle Racecourse hosted over 1,800 people for hospitality packages this year, which was a massive 43% increase year on year showing the demand for elevated experiences. The brand new Say When Tent also completely sold out, with plans for this to evolve with new offerings in 2027.

The famous Style Awards took centre stage in the afternoon to celebrate the best dressed ladies and gents of the day. This year saw a record-breaking number of prizes worth over £11,000, with the top prize going to Helene who won and took home over £6,000 worth of prizes. Helene stunned in a purple dress and was commended for her creativity and sustainable approach thanks to her customised ex-bridesmaid dress which was repurposed and tailored to also create a matching hat and bag.

Bongos Bingo and N-Trance kept the party going post racing at Say When Ladies Day with high-energy performances, rounding off a day of excitement.

Following this year’s success, Say When has confirmed it will be the headline sponsor for Ladies Day 2027, with plans already underway to make next year even bigger and better.

Tickets are on sale now for Say When Ladies Day 2027 via the Newcastle Racecourse website, with racegoers encouraged to secure their tickets now to avoid missing out on the action.
