Seaham Hall has unveiled the relaunch of its Zen Garden in time for summer, introducing an enhanced outdoor experience within its award-winning Serenity Spa.
Designed around intentional wellbeing, engagement with nature and restorative relaxation, the £1 million investment builds upon the outdoor facilities, transforming the space into a thoughtfully curated wellbeing environment where guests can enjoy relaxation, recovery and social connection.
The revitalised Zen Garden introduces two state-of-the-art infinity edge pools, where guests can bathe in warm waters while breathing in the fresh coastal air. A new cold plunge pool with a running waterfall provides revitalising recovery, creating a striking experience for guests.
An extended outdoor deck invites moments of relaxation, with loungers positioned for uninterrupted views across the landscaped gardens. In the evening, fire pits with intimate seating areas will create a warm setting under the stars for friends to reconnect.
Ross Grieve, Managing Director at Seaham Hall, said: “The relaunch of our Zen Garden marks an exciting new chapter for Serenity Spa in the hotel’s 25th year. We wanted to create a space that truly reflects how guests are approaching wellbeing today – more intentional, more connected to nature and more focused on great experiences.
“This investment allows us to offer our guests something really special and a seamless journey between relaxation, recovery and memory making, all set against the backdrop of our gorgeous coastal surroundings.”
To celebrate the relaunch, Seaham Hall is introducing a number of new spa packages, including a limited-edition Golden Hour Twilight Series, inviting guests to experience the contrast of hot, cold and calm under the evening sky. The after-hours experience includes arrival on the Zen Terrace with Champagne and a chef’s seasonal canape, access to Serenity Spa and the transformed Zen Garden from 5pm to 10pm, live music, an enhanced Geko dining experience and a spa product to take home.
The Golden Hour Twilight Series is priced at £145 per person and will take place on selected dates throughout the summer. Tickets will be available to book from Friday 17th April via https://seaham-hall.co.uk/events/
Alongside this, a Summer Spa Garden Wellness campaign will run across June, July and August, featuring expert-led sessions including breathwork, meditation, sound bathing, fire and ice experiences, skincare consultations, mini spa treatment rituals and an SPF bar with cooling towel station.
The relaunch further strengthens Seaham Hall’s reputation as one of the North East’s leading coastal spa and wellness destinations, offering guests an immersive spa experience like no other.
