A new luxury wellbeing retreat series is launching across the North East, bringing together some of the region’s most respected female business leaders to support women in leadership, entrepreneurship and personal growth in a more sustainable, seasonal way.

Developed in collaboration between Wearside based Claire Pickersgill and Julie Turnbull, co-founders of The Ladies Collective, and Teesside based Sarah Pike Coaching, the retreat series is designed to align women’s professional and personal development with the natural rhythm of the four seasons. With each retreat offering a carefully curated blend of strategic insight, coaching, wellbeing practices and peer connection.

The initiative responds to growing demand from women in business for high-quality, meaningful experiences that move beyond traditional networking and productivity models, instead prioritising balance, clarity and long-term growth.

“So many women are building successful businesses while carrying enormous mental and emotional loads,” said Claire Pickersgill, co-founder of The Ladies Collective. “This collaboration allows us to create space for reflection, recalibration and ambition – without burnout.”

Julie Turnbull added: “The North East has an incredible community of female leaders. This retreat series is about harnessing that collective energy, supporting collaboration over competition, and giving women permission to grow in ways that feel aligned and sustainable.”

Drawing on her extensive experience in coaching women through transition and change, Sarah Pike brings a depth of transformational coaching to the retreats.

“The seasons offer a powerful framework for growth,” said Sarah Pike. “By aligning goals, mindset and strategy with natural cycles, women can lead with more confidence, resilience, and authenticity. This partnership allows us to deliver that message in a truly luxurious, supportive environment.”

Each seasonal retreat will take place at carefully selected North East venues, showcasing the region’s hospitality and wellness offerings while reinforcing the area’s growing reputation as a hub for female-led enterprise and innovation.

The retreat series also reflects a broader trend within the B2B landscape: businesses increasingly recognising the value of wellbeing-led leadership, collaboration and purpose-driven growth.

A partnership rooted in collaboration

The Seasons Series partnership brings together the strengths of the three established businesswomen; Julie Turnbull, Claire Pickersgill and Sarah Pike.

Julie Turnbull, a Transformational Coach, multi-Business Owner and People-First Leader with 20+ years of leadership and coaching experience, Julie helps clients move forward with clarity, purpose, and energy that actually feels good.

Claire Pickersgill, Public Speaker, PR Strategist and Super Connector, and Founder of PR agency House of Hype & Co. Claire helps people and brands shape stories that land with integrity and impact.

The duo formed The Ladies Collective, a North East–based community supporting women in business through events, mentorship and collaboration opportunities, developing a sell-out networking formula, a community in its thousands, forging brand collaborations with major players including Aston Martin Newcastle, H Beauty, Ad Gefrin, and Fenwick to elevate experiences.

Sarah Pike Coaching specialises in coaching women through change, leadership development and personal growth, helping clients create clarity, confidence and balance in their professional lives.

Combined the portfolio of diverse skills and ethos of the trio of business leaders ensures the collaboration is rooted in shared values. The founders highlight that across the wellness culture, a quiet revolution is taking place. Women are stepping away from hustle-led self-improvement and returning to something far older — and far deeper: the wisdom of the feminine, cyclical living, and goddess-centred energy.

The Seasons Series offers a timely response: an experience that invites women to live, lead and rest in season. The first retreat launches on the 26th March 2026, with ‘Reawaken – Air – Spring – Renewal and Clarity’ at the exquisite 5 Star Grantley Hall, where stately grandeur meets contemporary elegance, and unlike traditional retreats, The Seasons Series is structured as a cyclical journey rather than a one-off experience, with each retreat reflecting the unique energy of its season.

The Seasons Series is aimed at women seeking intentional luxury, meaningful wellbeing, and space to reconnect—whether they are navigating change, seeking clarity, or simply wanting to live more in alignment with themselves.

Investment: £1600 for The Full Luxe Seasons Pass which includes access to all four Seasons events across the 2026 series.
