This December, award-winning five-star hotel Seaham Hall invites guests to experience an evening of indulgence with A Taste of Pommery, an exquisite four-course dining event that celebrates the artistry and heritage of one of France’s most prestigious champagne houses.

Taking place on Friday 12th December, guests at Seaham Hall can expect an unforgettable evening of fine dining hosted by Pommery brand ambassador, Peter Edwards.

Guests will be welcomed with an apéritif and canapés on arrival, before sitting down to enjoy a carefully curated four-course menu, thoughtfully paired with a variety of impeccable Pommery champagnes.

Founded in 1858 in Reims, Pommery Champagne is one of France’s largest and most renowned champagne houses and was the first house to commercialise a brut champagne in 1874.

Guests will enjoy a selection of exquisite canapés including Lindisfarne Oysters paired with Exmoor Caviar, and whipped goats cheese served with beets and blackcurrant. Other dishes include salt baked celeriac with mushrooms and truffle, Isle of Uig Turbot with scallop mousseline and Sparl Brae mussels, and Iberico pig served with cabbage, chervil root hazelnut and jus. The final dish is apple and vanilla arlettes served with ice cream and apple marigold.
