A key Newcastle venue is available to let through property firm Bradley Hall.

12 Grey Street- formerly Leila Lily’s- is currently available to let, with a new operator soon to be announced. Located within the site of the Grey Street Hotel, the venue comprises 5,580 sq ft across two floor and benefits from high footfall from locals and visitors alike.

Sitting on a prime spot at the end of the famous Grey Street, the commercial premises has seen high demand from potential tenants looking to move into the unit.

The region’s largest full-service property firm, Bradley Hall, is supporting the landlord to lease the site to a new tenant who will provide a food and beverage service for guests.

Harry Towers, Chartered Surveyor at Bradley Hall, commented on the property: “I am pleased to be supporting our client in sourcing an appropriate operator for their hospitality space within the Grey Street Hotel.”

“This is an iconic building that benefits from fantastic footfall, and I look forward to welcoming a new tenant imminently.”

Situated alongside a number of upscale hospitality venues, cultural attractions and boutique venues, 12 Grey Street is ideally located within the heart of Newcastle’s bustling city centre.

Set across two floors, the venue comes fully fitted with a striking central bar with feature lighting and marble effect frontage, as well as fixed booth seating and flexible floor space for private events.

Previously voted the finest street in Britain, Grey Street connects Newcastle’s Monument area to Dean Street and was constructed by architect Richard Grainger. A number of key businesses had offices on the famous street, including the Bank of England. Current businesses include Café Mercy, Lloyds Bank, Everyman Cinema and Theatre Royal.

12 Grey Street is a Grade II Listed building which was also a former bank and previous renovations retained several original features such as mosaic flooring and high ceilings.

Bradley Hall, which has its head office at 33-39 Grey Street, provides full-service residential and commercial property support to clients across the UK and regularly works with a number of large-scale hospitality companies to source appropriate tenants or acquire hospitality space.

Founded in 1988, the firm has been involved in a number of key deals across Newcastle, including Sanco Pizza, retail units at STACK and the present marketing of Grainger Tavern.
