A brand new show home is opening its doors to the public this month – with designers on hand to pass on free styling advice and tips.

Leading housebuilder Miller Homes North East will be officially opening the showhome and sales centre at its Willows Edge development, off Woodside Lane, Ryton, on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 February.

And visitors on both days can not only view the four bedroomed, detached, Denham show home, but also seek advice on everything from surveying and styling to finance.

There are 97 properties on the site with 41 of the three, four and five-bedroom homes already sold and prospective buyers on the Saturday will be welcomed with fizz and canapés to mark the official launch.

An independent financial adviser from Safeguard Financial Services Ltd will be available both days from 11am to 4pm to offer free advice on the financial aspects of buying a new home and answer questions.

Representatives from Newcastle law firm Jacksons will also be on hand throughout the two-day event to provide free advice on the legal process of house buying.

On Saturday only, from 11am to 2pm, visitors will be able to meet designers from Newcastle-based Q Interiors, who designed the show home and will display their mood boards and share the inspiration behind their styling.

Karen Randles, senior interior designer with Q Interiors, revealed the showhouse has some special features – including a rugby themed boy’s bedroom, perfect for a sports fan – and a festival-inspired girl’s bedroom.

“These rooms show what you can create in a fabulous family home,” she said.

“We will also be around to share practical information such as highlighting the importance of good lighting and how it’s important to measure the room before making expensive purchases such as a sofa or dining table.

“We are looking forward to being able to help anyone considering purchasing one of these amazing properties.”

Phil Dougan Sales Manager at Miller Homes North East, said sales of the houses at Willows Edge had already “got off to a flying start.

“We have been selling this development from our Stephenson Meadows site, at Callerton, since June last year,” he said.

“And now our beautiful show home is complete we very much expect interest to climb so I would strongly urge anyone thinking of moving to come along to the event and take advantage of all the free advice available.”

The launch event will take place on 25 and 26 February from 11am until 4pm and the Miller Homes sales team will then be on site weekly from Thursday to Monday between10.30am and 5.30pm.
