North East property, business and lifestyle magazine, Portfolio North has been announced as the exclusive media partner for the highly anticipated Sunderland Business Festival.

The publication is set to support the event with publicity both before, during and reporting on interviews with its high profile guests following the event. A stellar line-up of speakers, including; Dame Irene Hays DBE, Heather Mills, the teams behind international production company Fulwell 73, SAFC and a range of business and local authority leaders have recently been announced for Sunderland Business Festival.
The festival is being organised by Sunderland Business Partnership, a collective of organisations of all sizes, all with an interest in the city’s development, creating opportunities for members to collaborate and grow, which in turn helps Sunderland to be a more dynamic destination for business.

The Sunderland City Council-backed Festival is set to inspire business people and budding entrepreneurs from across the region. The outstanding line-up will include a range of panel discussions, including one from Fulwell73’s managing partner Leo Pearlman and UK CEO Johnny Moore as they discuss the company’s future plans that will put Sunderland and the North East at the forefront of the UK’s film and media industry. Other events will include an ‘on the sofa’ talk from Dame Irene Hayes, an insight into the life and successful career of Heather Mills, business seminars including how to protect your business from cyber crime, a recruitment fayre and Tech Talent event at the Stadium of Light, SAFC Talk – The Business of Football from its senior leadership team, Music Tech Meet up and Behind the Scenes at Nissan. The festival will conclude with an Entrepreneurial Leaders event at the Fire Station Auditorium with speakers including successful local entrepreneurs Alice Rowen Hall from Rowen Homes, Kim Cattin from West Barn Co. and Cassie Moyse from Portfolio North and Bradley Hall.
