Since the coronavirus pandemic began in March 2020, home office space has become invaluable. Research has shown that the addition of a home office can add between 8% and 10% to the value of a property in the current market, displaying how desirable these spaces have become. From one room offices in the home, to separate office annexes, Bradley Hall have compiled a list of the best office space currently available on the market.

Buyers should look no further for the perfect example of modern luxury living within a traditional, tranquil setting.

The property is accessed into a large central entrance hall and is arranged with a western and eastern wing. Barn Cottage, West Rainton, £750,000

Barn cottage has the benefit of being on one level with high ceilings and large windows which enhances the space. It’s hard to believe this property was once a former hospital building which was converted in 1994. The vendors have thoroughly modernised the property but still retained its charm and character.

Access to the land is directly opposite the house and the spectacular, newly built, home office is directly behind the house, with its own entrance. This modern building also encompasses a double garage and boiler room for the biomass boiler. The home office is located above the double garage and has great space for working or living. Due to the roof lights the natural light floods in and the contemporary office benefits from fantastic views over the surrounding countryside.

Richardby Crescent, Durham, £699,950

The subject property is one of the largest built on the estate and extends to over 2500 sq ft of gross internal accommodation with the benefit of a detached garage and a good amount of driveway, off street parking. The staircase continues to the send floor where there are 2 further bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room. The second floor could be quite easily used as a teenager or family separate living area with one of the bedrooms currently used as a teenager’s den.
