The Employment department at a prominent North East firm has bolstered its offering following an appointment in the team.

Hannah MacLeod is the latest new starter to join Newcastle-based Mincoffs Solicitors, which has welcomed 16 new staff across the last 12 months during a period of ongoing growth.

Hannah joins the employment team as a solicitor, where she will work alongside partner Nick Smith, solicitor Laura Liddle and trainee solicitor Jenny Luke.

Originally from Nottinghamshire, Hannah completed her training contract at Doncaster Council, gaining rounded experience in litigation, employment, childcare, property and contracts, and accepted a position within Mincoffs upon qualification.

Hannah is looking forward to building her own caseload and assisting the firm’s clients with a variety of employment matters.

“I was keen to relocate to Newcastle once I finished my training contract and Mincoffs really stood out to me as a commercially minded firm,” said Hannah.

“It was important to me to join a firm where I would be able to make an active contribution to the team’s success and I was particularly drawn to Mincoffs’ strong commitment to ESG principles.

“Everyone at Mincoffs has been incredibly welcoming and it has been great to hit the ground running, meeting clients and starting work on some key matters.”
