Celebrate our region by joining the cause to raise £1 million for the Yorkshire Children’s Charity at Grantley Hall’s A Night Under the Stars.
This extraordinary event, featuring a live performance by Olly Murs, promises to be the most glamorous night of the year, bringing together celebrities and philanthropists for an unforgettable evening on Saturday 21st September 2024.
Grantley Hall, a family-owned five-star hotel deeply rooted in Yorkshire’s heritage, calls on local businesses and corporations to unite for this significant cause. With 25,000 children in the region in desperate need and one in three living in poverty, your support has never been more crucial.
The inaugural event in November 2022 raised a phenomenal £850,000 and this year, with the help of the Yorkshire community, we aim to surpass that and reach our £1 million goal. Designed by the renowned Party Architect Johnny Roxburgh and featuring floral arrangements by Fulford Flowers, A Night Under the Stars will be a night to remember.
Guests will be treated to a Champagne reception, fine wines and a gourmet four-course banquet prepared by Grantley Hall’s Executive Chef, Simon Crannage. The evening will include a variety of spectacular entertainment as well as live auction, culminating in a headline performance by Olly Murs and a dazzling fireworks display.
Richard Sykes, Managing Director at Grantley Hall, said: “Grantley Hall is immensely proud to be hosting this amazing event for the second time as part of our ongoing relationship with Yorkshire Children’s Charity. As a family-owned business with Yorkshire at its heart we do not underestimate the impact that companies like our own can have when supporting local charities and the wider Yorkshire community.”
Charlotte Farrington, CEO at Yorkshire Children’s Charity, said: “The kindness and generosity that Grantley Hall has shown us since Yorkshire Children’s Charity’s beginning in 2022 has been simply amazing.
“Yorkshire’s child poverty levels are the highest they’ve been in over 20 years, with one in three children affected and disabled children are more likely to grow up in poverty than their nondisabled peers as it costs three times as much to raise a child with disabilities.
“We set up Yorkshire Children’s Charity because we felt there was an opportunity and a need to do things differently in the charity sector. At Yorkshire Children’s Charity we are absolutely focused on the outcome, how do we get help to our families and young people as quickly as possible, with maximum impact.
“We cannot thank the team enough and hope that together we can raise £1 million at A Night Under the Stars in September.”
Supported by prestigious partners including Boodles, Lister Horsfall, Julius Baer, Morley Glass and Glazing, Alexanders Prestige, Moda Group, Dunesford Wines and Furnish & Fettle, this event is your chance to make a real impact.
Tickets for A Night Under the Stars with Olly Murs are priced at £1,000 per person, with tables of ten available for £10,000. To secure your place at this spectacular event, please contact Charlotte Farrington at [email protected].
