Wynyard Hall, County Durham

Wynyard Hall’s charming farm shop offers a range of high-quality local produce – some of it homegrown on the estate – along with unique homeware gifts and gourmet treats from artisanal suppliers all under one roof. Fill your baskets with all your pantry staples and organic must-haves, then stop by the café for a laid-back lunch. Expect freshly-made baked goods, from cakes and scones, to hot dishes and comforting desserts.


Brockbushes Farm Shop & Tea Room, Northumberland

Nestled against a leafy backdrop near Corbridge, Brockbushes Farm is renowned for its pick-your-own fruit fields and well-stocked farm shop, filled to the brim with homegrown produce. The recently-renovated site sells fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, preserves and more, while the new on-site kitchen serves up sandwiches and toasties, homemade scones, pies and soup, cakes and traybakes.


Cedarbarn Farm Shop, North Yorkshire

Head for Cedarbarn Farm Shop, located near Pickering, for a delicious range of locally- produced meats, dairy products and fresh fruit and veg. For those in search of sweet treats, its bakery never disappoints, while its deli counter delivers all the pantry must-haves you can think of. Don’t leave without paying the on-site café, which serves up light bites made from farm-fresh ingredients, a visit.


Piercebridge Organics, County Durham

Piercebridge Organics specialises in organic produce, including meats, dairy products and vegetables. Committed to sustainability and eco-friendly practices, it’s a must-visit for anyone who really cares where their shopping comes from. You’ll also find a selection of organic wines and craft beers to help you get in the weekend mood and you can even enjoy a guided tour of the organic farm if you fancy it.

Mainsgill Farm Shop, North Yorkshire

Situated on the A66, near Richmond, Mainsgill Farm Shop offers a wide range of fresh meats, cheeses and homemade baked goods, as well as a large selection of wines and spirits. Enjoy food festivals and tasting events throughout the year, along with seasonal farm tours, cookery classes, markets and craft fairs.

Fodder, Harrogate

You’ll find Fodder on the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. The farm shop and café that champions local produce and sells a variety of meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, as well as handmade chocolates and bakery items, from local makers nearby. The café offers seasonal menus featuring homegrown ingredients and it promises an events calendar jam-packed of good stuff, including fantastic wine and cheese tasting events and workshops on sustainable food practices.

Hinchliffe’s Farm Shop, West Yorkshire

Hinchliffe’s Farm Shop in Huddersfield is one of the oldest farm shops in the UK. It offers a butcher’s counter with locally-sourced meats, a bakery and a deli. The farm shop also has a garden centre where you can enjoy gardening workshops and plant sales and a restaurant that hosts regular food and drink tasting events.

Blacker Hall Farm Shop, West Yorkshire

Located in Wakefield, Blacker Hall Farm Shop is known for its award-winning meats, bakery products and fresh produce. The shop also sells a range of fine wines and spirits, while its on-site café and deli provide delicious meals and snacks made from local ingredients.
