Tom Buffham, Portfolio Analyst
Brewin Dolphin has appointed Tom Buffham as portfolio analyst as the wealth manager continues to bolster its investment solutions team. Buffham, who has previously held fund manager and senior analyst roles at Octopus Investments and Aviva Investors, will help to develop Brewin Dolphin’s sustainable MPS proposition. His appointment follows that of Jack Collini and Diego Daprile at the end of last year.

Brewin Dolphin’s intermediary business currently manages AUM of £17.6bn with £5.8bn total funds in its MPS and MI Brewin Dolphin Voyager fund range.

Embryo have since expanded their team though the appointment of Harriet Sutton-Kirkby and Lloyd Morris-Fletcher.
Harriet joins Embryo with over ten years’ worth of experience and will be working as a client services director.
Lloyd will join as a strategy director and will assist with all of Embryo’s output.

Newcastle law firm Muckle LLP has added three lawyers and a paralegal to its team.
Claire Renney, who specialises in education and safeguarding, joins the employment team. Siobhain Corr joins the corporate team, and will advise on various transactions in the busy North East deals market.
Sarah Farish now part of the banking and restructuring team, while Joanna Garvey-Smith, who is currently completing her law degree at Teesside University, joins the corporate services team as a paralegal.
