Christmas is stacking up at Seaburn

A top North East venue is planning to give partygoers a stack of Christmas treats throughout the festive season.

Container village, STACK Seaburn, is stretching a giant tent over its central plaza area to ensure customers are completely protected from the winter weather.

And the venue has also unveiled a number of party packages in the run up to Christmas and for New Year’s Eve with something for all the family – including the dog.

STACK Seaburn is running Christmas party nights on Fridays and Saturdays throughout November and December, with a special family friendly party every Sunday from 26 November from 4pm.

All of the party events cost £21.95p per adult and include a food voucher and a drinks voucher plus an added surprise.

Children under the age of 18 can attend the Friends and Family Christmas Party events on Sundays for free, but most be accompanied by an adult or guardian.

The Friday and Saturday night parties will include live entertainment and while booking is not necessary, those who do reserve in advance will have their seating secured for the whole evening.

Younger partygoers can also join in the fun at Mini Elves Christmas Parties on Sunday 3, 10, 17 and Friday 22 December.

Entry is free from noon and, along with party games and a disco, children can expect to see some of their favourite characters, with Santa Claus himself expected to make an appearance.

On 8 December STACK Seaburn will hold a Christmas edition of its ever-popular Kroud Karaoke and, on Christmas Eve from 12noon – 2.00pm it’s time for pooches to get in on the festive fun with a special ‘doggy social.’

Called Santa Paws, it will offer dogs – in their favourite Christmas costumes – the chance to have their photographs taken with Santa Claus.

Then, on 31 December, the focus swings firmly back to humans, with a New Year’s Eve Extravaganza with a live house band, DJ and Kroud Karaoke to

get everyone joining in to sing out the old year and welcome the new.

Priority and early bird tickets are now sold out, but general release tickets priced at £15 are now on sale.

Kevin Walker Entertainment Director, at STACK Seaburn, said the venue is “a fantastic place to celebrate Christmas and New Year.”

“There’s a party atmosphere all year round but even more so when everyone is in the festive spirit,” he said.

“The Christmas Party Nights are a really great way for friends or work colleagues to enjoy a great night out and we’ve introduced the Friends & Family Christmas Parties on a Sunday afternoon to get all of the community involved.

It’s a great opportunity to gather the grandparents, teenagers and extended family for an afternoon of live bands and appearances from some familiar Christmas characters – all at a really affordable price.”
