The event celebrating all things excellent in the Yorkshire business sector is set to host more than 400 peers to support the vital work that Yorkshire Children’s Charity are doing to help the region’s most vulnerable children.

The awards are a fantastic event that provide opportunities to network with leaders in business and support children in need.

The Yorkshires. Business Awards in 2023 raised over £182,000 which went towards supporting the work of Yorkshire Children’s Charity. This year, held at the Queens Hotel on the 6th December 2024, the awards are hoping to raise even more to support the children living at a disadvantage across Yorkshire. Sara Davies MBE – British business woman, entrepreneur, and television personality – will be attending the awards as the keynote speaker.

Yorkshire has the third highest rate of child poverty in the UK, with 31% of children in the region currently living in poverty. Aiming to relieve some of the struggles families have to face, often exacerbated in the winter months, Yorkshire Children’s Charity are working to provide essentials for children and help families struggling with the cost-of-living crisis, and also break the cycle of intergenerational poverty in the region. Events like The Yorkshires. are both aimed at celebrating entrepreneurial spirit and raising vital funds in order to help vulnerable children and young people to have the most fulfilling future possible.
